Julia Ryan Sullivan is the other founding member of Sullivan & Sullivan, Ltd. She is the firm's primary probate attorney, is involved in trust and estate administration issues, and is involved in drafting pre-nuptial agreements. Mrs. Sullivan will also handle agreed dissolutions of marriages, and has periodically been involved in the firm's many publication activities. In years past she was actively involved in litigation, primarily in connection with legal research, pre-trial discovery, organizing cases for hearings or trial, and assisting in court. She has argued before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. Before actively practicing law, Mrs. Sullivan was an assistant rate analyst at a major natural gas utility company.

Mrs. Sullivan is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and lived in Texas until shortly after graduating from law school. She is an avid curler, usually on the ice several times a week, and enjoys needlepoint and reading Anglo-Celtic and European history.
